Aims

Smile Design 1 - To demonstrate the use and effectiveness of direct and indirect techniques in aesthetic dentistry.

Smile Design 2 -The aim of the course is to discuss and demonstrate advanced ceramic veneer techniques.

Objectives

Smile Design 1 -Participants will have an understanding of clinical techniques including tooth preparation, impressions, temporisation and provisional restorations. The participant will have updated knowledge on the choice of the relevant restorative materials based on clinical evidence.

Smile Design 2 - Participants will have practised analysing and designing a smile. At the end of the course the participants will be able to select colour, shape and tooth position. They will also have up-dated their knowledge on choice of tooth preparation and cementation techniques.
