To provide a theoretical and practical introduction to Dental Implantology.

Objectives

- Have learnt treatment planning in relation to dental implants as part of an overall restorative approach.

- Understand the range of clinical and radiographic examination techniques available to aid treatment planning.

- Have practised the surgical techniques involved in implant placement (using training models).

- Have observed the clinical placement of an implant.
