Aims

Delegates to gain the core knowledge of ionising radiation as a CPD requirement

part 2 will cover the the legal requirements and processing of radiographs

Objectives

by the end of the session delegates will

1. be familiar with the health and safety aspect of ionising radiation for both patients and staff

2. Be familiar with radiation protection, rules and regulations enforced by the Health and Safety Executive

3. Be familiar with the processing of radiographs and

4. Be able to identify  faults associated with processing and gain the knowledge on how to prevent these from occuring.
