Aims

To update all members of the dental team on appropriate aspects of radiography in dentistry.

  • Define the sources of radiation dose to the UK population
  • Identify and quantify some of the radiation risks involved in dental radiology
  • Outline the principal components of the IRR1999 & IR(ME)R2000 legislation
