Aims

To provide a practical update practitioners with regard to Medical Emergencies in Practice and conditions related to emergencies   

THIS COURSE WILL NOT provide Hands on CPR Training.

Objectives

Through the use of Skill Stations, Demonstrations and small group sessions the course will

  • Revisit Resuscitation Council guidelines for dentists
  • Revisit  basic observations related to emergencies such as Blood Pressure monitoring and Glucose levels and how to interpret the findings
  • Practice drawing up drugs and IM injection techniques.
  • Review use of Automatic Defibrillators and practitioner emergency kits
