Aims

To learn a systematic approach to diagnosis and treatment planning in complex restorative cases. To learn to assess risk factors which may contribute to early failure of restorations. To understand how to design occlusion in fixed conventional restorations.

Objectives

By the end of the course participants will:

  • Gain an increased knowledge of restorative dentistry.
  • Have an increased understanding of occlusal design and construction of occlusal splints.
  • Have increased awareness of risk factors which contribute to early treatment failures.
  • Develop an understanding of a systematic approach to diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment delivery.
