  • To provide a overview of OMFS trauma and demonstrate the different plating systems used in the management of facial fractures
Objectives
  • Delivery of a brief explanation of the main principles of plating.
  • Discussion regarding the management of a major trauma patient
  • Discussion of the common types of OMFS fractures and their management using short lectures
  • Demonstration of use of plating systems on synthetic skulls during 3 hand-on sessions
