DescriptionPlease join local Endodontic Specialists Jon Cowie and Luca Moranzoni, in Bristol for a hands on study day. This is a hybrid course where delegates will get online, on-demand access to Contemporary Endodontics online platform in advance of a hands-on session. Online lectures will be assigned to watch before the hands-on day, where we will spend the time preparing 3D printed blocks mimicking challenges encountered in practice. We will use rotation and reciprocating instruments and will cover simple obturation.
Additional information

All dentists at any stage of their career are very welcome to attend.

8 hours CDP includes time spent with material in advance of the hands on session.

The study day will start at promptly at 9am, tea and coffee will be provided, but we will not be providing lunch as the study day will finish at 2pm.

Aims

To update in modern endodontics and restoration of the root filled tooth in line with current best evidence and using materials and equipment that simplify workflow.

Objectives

1. Understand the diagnosis and assessment surrounding decisions for endodontic and linked restorative treatment

2. Have hands on experience with rotational pro-Taper Ultimate file system to prepare a challenging 3D tooth block

3.Have hands on experience with the reciprocating Wave One Gold file system to prepare a challenging 3D tooth clock

4.Understand the importance of achieving a good coronal seal and overcoming scenarios with a deep margin

5.Understand the approach to dealing with the hot pulp in an emergency situation

6.Gain an understanding of modern endodontic treatment workflow
