Description | Please join Ross MacRae for an interactive and entertaining session on the theme of discovering the value of clinical photography. Clinical photography is becoming an increasingly important tool in our work. Ross will be discussing techniques for taking good photographs with different types of camera. This session is hands-on and we will have our fingers on the button. All members of the dental team are very welcome to attend. This course will be especially useful for people documenting cases for portfolios - considering postgraduate training, Tier 2 applications, or as a valuable tool for patient communication. |
Additional information | Ross is a practitioner and FT trainer working in the beautiful North Cornwall fishing port of Padstow. He has special interests in computer technology and photography. You are not expected to bring a camera to this course |

Objectives | By the end of the lesson the learner should: To be able to describe the advantages of using Dental Photography To understand the importance of consent and data protection Be able to operate different types of Intra-Oral and Extra-Oral cameras. Take good photographs to help with diagnosis, treatment planning and case presentations. Be able to achieve good, reproducible images with their photography. |
