DescriptionProfessor Brian Millar is repeating his very popular hour long webinar. This is a hands-on demonstration of rubber dam techniques: showing clearly the kit you need, how to set it up, several ways to do the dam application and many tips to make it work easier. It includes which teeth to clamp, how to deal with broken down teeth and how to remove the dam safely. There will not be a power point presentation but notes will be made available to accompany the webinar in advance of the evening.

The aim of this session is to teach delegates how to use rubber dam effectively

Objectives

By the end of the session:

  1. Delegates will have learnt three methods of applying rubber dam with a focus on one particularly simple and effective method
  2. Delegates will also know techniques to improve the use of rubber dam for a variety of clinical situations.
  3. Delegates will be aware of the benefits in using rubber dam for themselves and their patients
