Develop the skills to be an educational supervisor in Foundation training

Objectives

appreciate the teaching, learning and assessment principles underpinning DFT

· have considered how to make optimal use of the DFT curriculum, portfolio and linked tools

· have identified approaches to support learning in the workplace, including chairside

· have rehearsed strategies to support the development of your DFT as a reflective practitioner

· be familiar with best practice feedback principles and how to put them to use

· be able to design and implement learner-centred tutorials
