Objectives | To discuss the urgent need to transform current practice in dentistry To describe opportunities to make dentistry more sustainable through patient and staff travel, procurement and waste management, energy use and disease prevention To understand how to support staff and patients to change their behaviour to be more sustainable To use audit tools and metrics to measure environmental impact | ||
Learning outcomes | On completion of this course participants will have a robust understanding of the impact of dentistry on the climate and ecological crises. They will have the tools to transform their own working practices to become more sustainable, and to encourage the staff and patients around them to adopt meaningful change. | ||
