DescriptionThis hour long online session offers an opportunity to hear about simple effective interventions for treating tooth wear, correcting the occlusion and restoring aesthetics. Professor Brian Millar aims to help the dental team in practicing clinical dentistry in a new environment where aerosols are to be avoided and the risk of coronavirus transmission minimised by practicing non-cutting, more adhesive dentistry techniques, getting the occlusion right without the need to adjust and polish, under rubber dam. There will be limited participants to enable questions. Please put your name on the waiting list if the course is full, to register interest in a future course. If you have any particular questions you would like to be addressed please email them to samantha.braddock@hee.nhs.uk

This webinar is to be run via Webex.  The joining instructions will be made available via email or your Maxcourse account after you have booked your place, a few days before the course.

Aims

The aim of this session is to explain simple effective interventions for treating tooth wear, correcting the occlusion and restoring aesthetics.


Objectives

By the end of the session delegates should:

  1. Be able identify localised wear,
  2. Know techniques to build up those teeth and allow the occlusion to correct.
  3. Be able to identify generalised wear and have a treatment strategy to manage this.
