Aims

To comprehensively discuss how acute endodontic infections and pain have been managed in Liverpool COVID Unit during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Objectives

After this presentation, delegates will:

1- Be able to describe how endodontic care has been triaged and provided during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Merseyside.

2- List the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) that is required to carry out Endodontic Aerosol Generated Procedures (AgPs)

3- Describe the local anaesthetic techniques , endodontic tools and restorative equipment that may be needed to perform Endodontic AgPs.

4- Understand the problems associated with performing intricate endodontic work whilst wearing such extensive PPE.
