DescriptionHealth Education England (HEE) invite all current PLVE dentists and new starters to join us for afternoon tea. This is a great opportunity to meet other PLVE dentists which we understand has been challenging during the pandemic. As well as sharing our experiences of PLVE so far, this will be a good time to ensure everyone is comfortable with the ePortfolio and to find out about the opportunities for dentists both as PLVEs and beyond. This event is free to attend, we do hope that you are able to join us. If you have any questions about the afternoon, please contact Lucy.silk@hee.nhs.uk. Your Educational Supervisor is most welcome to join us.
Additional information

All PLVE colleagues and supervisors are very welcome to join us.  This will cover the same material as our session in Bristol last August.  

If you are planning to be in Plymouth all day, why not consider joining us for Clinical Audit, happening in the same venue at 10am.

Aims

To welcome PLVE dentists to the South West, share experiences and provide an opportunity to answer questions and clarify the e Portfolio.

Objectives

1. Meet HEE staff and be aware who to contact if issues arise

2. Find out about opportunities open to dentists in the South West

3. Understand the purpose of the ePortfolio and how to complete this

4. Begin to create a network of PLVE colleagues working in the region

Learning outcomes

Following this session, participants will have a better understanding of the opportunities available within the South West, know where to seek help if issues arise and have a clearer understanding of the value of the ePortfolio.
