| Aims | The aim of this webinar is to update knowledge of local anaesthetics used in dentistry, in order to make informed choices for best practice. | ||
| Objectives | · Understand toxicitiy, and medical histories in relation to local anaesthesia · Discover how to manage dental anxiety, fear and phobia when delivering local anaesthesia · Discuss needle phobia, the mechanisms that cause it, and techniques for management · Look at reasons why LA might fail · Understand how to deliver inferior dental blocks and infiltration anaesthesia | ||
