DescriptionThis one hour webinar session will cover assessing the occlusion quickly and going on to fix basic problems (tooth wear, cracked tooth syndrome, TMJ pain) easily with reversible, non-aerosol generating procedures. Professor Brian Millar aims to help the dental team in practicing clinical dentistry in a new environment where aerosols are to be avoided and the risk of coronavirus transmission minimised by practicing non-cutting, more adhesive dentistry techniques, getting the occlusion right without the need to adjust and polish, under rubber dam. If you have any particular questions you would like to be addressed please email them to samantha.braddock@hee.nhs.uk by Friday 26th June.

This webinar is to be run via Webex.  The joining instructions will be made available via email or your Maxcourse account after you have booked your place, a few days before the course.

The session will be available to join at 16.45 and the session will start at 17.00

Aims

To teach delegates how to assess the occlusion quickly and go on to fix basic problems (tooth wear, cracked tooth syndrome, TMJ pain) easily with reversible, non-aerosol generating procedures.

Objectives

By the end of the session:

  1. Delegates will have learnt methods of checking occlusal positions and movements
  2. Delegates will understand how to correct failing anterior guidance and the problems that can follow on from tooth wear
