Aims

To bring together NHS England SW the Managed Clinical Network, Tier 2 and 3a providers from across the South West.  This is to provide a forum where Commissioners and managers can meet with provider clinicians to agree on the formation of a formal clinical network and a unified co-ordinated Quality Assurance Programme based on the patient journey.

Objectives

1. Participants will understand the priorities of Commissioners and the role of the MCN in developing local policy in the South West.

2. To understand the Oral Surgery Commissioning Document 2015 and the service provision in the South West.

3. To establish details of providers, locality and service provision as part of a managed clinical network.

4. Delegates will be familiar with colleagues responsible for the provision of minor oral surgery across the South West.

5. Delegates will have a greater understanding of the role of triage, and its complexities.

6. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a possible system for e-Referral
