Aim:

To equip Educational Supervisors with the necessary skills and knowledge in preparation for the Foundation Training Year.

Objectives

Objectives:

By the end of the course Educational Supervisors  will be able to:

Assess the experience and confidence of their new FD and draw up a training needs analysis.

Monitor their FD during the year using the FT work-based assessment tools.

Have a greater understanding of what makes a good training practice 

Use the Foundation Training ePDP.

Have a better understanding of the issues facing Foundation Dentists

Have a better understanding of their role as a Mentor
