DescriptionChris Sproat (Consultant, Guys Hospital London) will be joining us to discuss how we should be approaching the management of third molars. He will be discussing assessment, including Cone Beam CT, Coronectomy and Error avoidance. This is a lecture based afternoon, although there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion. All members of the dental team are very welcome. This course is suitable for PVLE Candidates.
Additional information

This is the second of two courses held in Bath today.  You are welcome to attend for the whole day or part of the day.  If you are planning on coming to the morning session you will also need to book 'Osteonecrosis and Haemostasis'.

To keep costs to a minimum, lunch will not be provided. If you are staying all day, there is a café at the Royal United Hospital or you may wish to bring your own lunch.

  • Be aware of methods of assessing third molars - including Cone Beam CT
  • Describe coronectomy and its indications
  • Understand the concept of 'error avoidance' including wrong tooth extraction
