Subjectdental trauma
DescriptionThis is the perfect opportunity to refresh our knowledge of dental trauma. Using case scenarios, Paul Wilson and Robert Kelly will lead us through the contemporary management of acute dental trauma. We will discuss the long term complications, pulpal physiology and our legal obligations. This is an interactive course, with plenty of opportunity for questions, discussions and clinical tips.
Additional information

This course is aimed at dentists working in practice, however all interested members of the dental team are very welcome to attend.

This course is suitable for PVLE candidates and those returning to practice.

Aims

To update the busy dental practitioner about the contemporary assessment and management of trauma dental injuries

Objectives

On completion of the course, participants will;

1. Understand the pulpal response to traumatic dental injury;

2. Know the current international guidelines for the acute management of traumatic dental injuries;

3. Understand the range of contemporary materials in the management of traumatic dental injuries;

4. Know the long-term sequelae and outcomes for the traumatically injured tooth, and its rehabilitation.

Following the course, participants will feel more comfortable managing dental trauma in practice
