In this hour long webinar Professor Brian Millar will show us how to identify, manage, advice and treat these patients. This will be a demonstration webinar with course notes to accompany it.

Aims

The aim of this session is to teach delegates how to treat their bruxist patients to help them avoid tooth damage.


Objectives

By the end of the session delegates should:

  1. Be able to identify a bruxist
  2. Have learnt how to use splints that prevent damage and limit the bite force
Learning outcomes

On completion delegates will be able to:


 Identify a bruxist and know how to manage them in order to limit tooth damage

 Be able to use a suitable splint to allow movement yet limit the force and reduce the damage
