Description | Prof. Millar and Dr Hussain from KCL are repeating the 12 hours of CPD blended learning course delivered in May 2022. This course covers how to assess and design improved aesthetics to correct colour, shape and the occlusion. Content includes rubber dam, direct composite bonding in monolayer and layered techniques for anterior and posterior restorations. Use of direct composite to design then make the changes to the smile will be covered. The course will then explain how to apply the Destination Driven Dentistry approach to later upgrade to high-performance layered composite restorations including use of indirect composite. This blended learning course delivers 12 hours CPD consisting of: 3 hour webinar available 1 month beforehand, 3 hours reading and reflection, 6 hours hands-on training. Hands-on table top sessions include anterior veneers and posterior challenges including subgingival margins and difficult contact areas. | ||

This course is suitable for anyone wishing to consolidate and build on their knowledge of composite restoration techniques. Please note the webinar and reading content should be completed before attending the face to face element. The day at Engineer's House will cover additional material.
