It will include a session by Patricia Hellier Care Quality Inspector (South Region) who has been an inspector for 14 years and has been inspecting dentists since they were first registered with the CQC in 2011/2012 to help dispel myths about the CQC.

Aims

- Be aware of the laws and main principles of health and safety and demonstrate an understanding of the requirements.

- Be able to confidently carry out risk assessments including COSHH.

- Know the documentation needed in the health and safety.

- Comply with HTM 0701 for waste Regulations.

-Dispel some of the myths and mysteries of the CQC.

-Provide examples of CQC findings.

-Consider best practice and case studies.
