DescriptionThis is a great opportunity to cover aesthetic posterior composite techniques including looking at occlusion, bulk fill and matrix systems. Prof Brian Millar, Director of MClinDent Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics, KCL; NHS Restorative Consultant KCH and Bill Sharpling Director of the London Dental Education Centre are going to take us through a day of interactive lectures and hands on table top practice.

Aims

To provide the options and techniques for carrying out posterior diagnostic waxing and aesthetic posterior direct composite restorations and alternative indirect restorations


Objectives

By the end of the day delegates should have a better appreciation of:


· tooth shape in relation to posterior tooth anatomy

· posterior tooth aesthetics using composite layering techniques

· posterior occlusion

· bulk fill and natural layering techniques

· matrix sytems and finishing techniques
