1- Current classification of periodontal disease.

2- Describe the rationale for non-surgical periodontal therapy and be aware of the different adjunctive treatments including antibiotics and when they are indicated.

3-Understand the importance of and the impact of supportive periodontal therapy.

4- Understand potential treatment options for improving aesthetics in the periodontally compromised patient.

5- Understand the basics of peri-implantitis and what the team can do.
