DescriptionThis is one of a pair of hour-and-a-half, back-to-back courses held on the same morning. You only need to log into one! It is open to dentists, and any DCPs who have the NEBDN radiography qualification. If you are having trouble using the paralleling technique for intra-oral radiographs or just want to confirm that you are doing it correctly, Tim Huckstep, Radiographer in the Dental Departments of Derriford Hospital will guide you through! Bring your own kit and he will be able to give you tips on how to get the best out of your equipment. Please note: due to the size of the room we are limited to 6 participants for the session - early booking is advised!
Additional information

The course will take place in the Dental Radiography room in the Dental Department on level 7 Out-patients Department, Derriford Hospital.  Max the radiographic mannequin will be used to practice techniques: no participants will be harmed by ionising radiation during the course!

Tim has worked with Nick Drage in Cardiff so is fully conversant with the nuances of dental radiography and has leant his expertise to the Derriford Dental clinicians for the past two years.
