DescriptionA “Hands-on” day, comprising practical tooth preparation, temporisation and impression taking regarding preparations for providing cuspal protection. We will cover 3 /4 - 7/8 crowns MO/MOD onlays with cuspal coverage “Top Hat” restorations for gold, indirect composite and ceramic restorations. The practical sessions will be interspersed with mini lectures and discussions on: Patient/tooth assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning. Managing cracked teeth. Materials choice. Bonding systems. Participants are asked to bring posterior extracted teeth, including those with large restorations for use in the treatment planning and practical sessions.
