Aims

This course describes the nature on snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea and the way that dentists can use oral appliances to help manage these disorders.

 

The course will provide information that the Dental Protection Societies require for members to be eligible for cover when providing this form of treatment.

Objectives

At the end of the course participants will-

-Understand snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.

-Know which patients to treat.

-Know how to produce and fit oral appliances.

-Know how patients should be monitored.
