Aims

This course will include problem solving to assess current treatment planning methods and enable the dental team to improve periodontal treatment planning in general dental practice.

Objectives

By the end of the session the participants will be able to:

 

  1. Effectively identify and diagnose types of periodontal disease including spotting more challenging cases.
  2. Use appropriate methods of diagnosis and assessment.
  3. Formulate treatment plans with the aid of case studies.
  4. Be able to liaise with other members of the team in providing sound care   and management.
