Aims

Objective Structered clinical Examination OSCE

All DCPs to competently take an upper and a lower alginate impressionsand a wax bite for a patient, to the prescription of a dentist while under observation.

Objectives

While taking the impressions each DCP will-

Be able to work to the prescription of the GDP

Be able to demonstrate good communication skills.

Be able to demonstrate good infection control measures.

Be able to  demonstrate competence and confidence.

Be able to identlify any errors in the impressions.

Show an understanding of confidentiality and consent
