| Description | an assessment of student who have completed the thoery part of the impression taking course and patient log book. After completeing this seesion each student will be signed off as competant to take dental impression from aprescription of their GDP within their own practices | ||

| Aims | All DCP's are to take 2 dental alginate impressions of a patient to a prescription of a dentsit while under observation. | ||
| Objectives | While taking the impression the DCP will: Be able to work to the prescription of their GDP Be able to demonstrate good communication skills Be able to demonstrate good infection control measures Be able to demonstrate competence and confidence Be able to identify any errors in the impression Show an understading of confidentiality and consent | ||
