Aims

At the conclusion of this one-day course participants should be able to understand the current rationale for delivery of endodontic treatment and appreciate the various options when considering root canal treatment. 

 

Please note:

Participants will need to bring at least TWO molar teeth with ACCESS CAVITIES CUT and mounted in squared blocks of impression putty. A radiograph of each should have been taken. Thank you

Objectives

1.     Prepare endo-vu blocks and extracted teeth using Nickel Titanium instrumentation

2.     Describe general guidelines for the use of Nickel Titanium instruments

3.     Recognise when to use Stainless Steel and Nickel Titanium instruments

4.     Obturate prepared teeth using warm obturation techniques

5.     Identify when to use different obturation techniques
