DescriptionIn this the second of 2 courses, Specialists in their disciplines, will deliver a series of engaging and thought provoking presentations covering most areas of Oral Surgery and Medicine of relevance and interest to the GDP. From Bristol Dental Hospital, Professor Stephen Prime will discuss Facial Pain of non Dental Origin, Tony Brooke the treatment of the Medically Compromised patient and Oral Pathology and Chris Bell the Management of dental infection and surgical complications. Mr Charles Perkins, a Consultant Oral Maxillofacial surgeon from Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospitals Healthcare Trust, will discuss the assessment of the impacted third molar and finally in an enjoyable interactive format, Professor StJohn Crean, from the UCLan, will discuss the relevance of medical conditions to the safe treatment of patients in general practice. This course is a must for clinicians, who wish to avoid the stress of the unexpected medical, or treatment associated complication.
