Additional information

The first part of the course will take place on the evening session at South Bristol Community Hospital from 6.30 - 8.30 pm on Monday 29th Octoberand will cover the theory and rationale behind flouride application as as part of a preventive regime

The second part will comprise practical , hands on sessions for demonstration and practice of the techniques required. This  will be held at South Bristol Community Hospital on Wednesday 7th November from 9am - 4.30 pm

Aims

The aims of this 2-day interactive course are to cover the theory and practice of fluoride application in general dental practice as part of a preventive regime

2 understand how fluoride can help prevent dental caries

3 be fluent at explaining the procedure to patients and their parents/carers

4 be competent at preparing the clinical environment for flouride application
