Description | This FREE webinar provides an introduction to domestic abuse and explores the links between domestic abuse and the role of the dental team. Dental teams can be the first healthcare professionals someone may see with injuries caused by domestic abuse. On average 75% of injuries inflicted through domestic abuse occur to the head and neck. Dental teams often form long-term relationships with their patients and families, so are in an ideal position to notice changes in someone’s appearance or behaviour and signpost victims towards appropriate support. The session is tailored for the whole team. | ||
