DescriptionAn overview of all forms of tooth discolouration and the various techniques used to treat them will be covered. In addition, the theory of shade taking for both restorations fabricated in the mouth and in laboratories will be discussed. The various techniques will be shown on natural and artificial teeth for the ‘hands-on’ part of the course. Participants will be able to perform the various techniques for themselves. The course will concentrate on in surgery immediate build up using the latest composite techniques in conjunction with the use of silicone indices and various stains / effects to produce natural looking teeth. The course consists of an initial lecture followed by a hands-on for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
