DescriptionThis is an afternoon and evening course for dentists and DCPs on digital photography in dental practice. In addition to lectures there is plenty of hands-on photography so participants are encouraged to bring along their digital cameras. The course will run from 14.00 with refreshments on arrival and during the course with a break at 17.30 for a buffet meal.

Aims

To give an overview of the equipment and techniques needed to produce good intra- and extra-oral photographs of patients, and the photography of radiographs. 

Management of images and back up will also be discussed.

Objectives

Participants will be able to make informed decisions on the choice of equipment and its use in dentistry.

They will gain an understanding of the settings and techniques necessary to produce good quality photographs.

Participants will also understand back up and its implementation.
