To assist practitioners in improving and maintaining the oral health of their young patients

Objectives


By the end of the session the participants should be able to
 
 

  • Assess the pulpal status of the primary tooth

 
 

  • Select appropriate treatment option for the deep carious lesion in the primary tooth

 
 

  • List the different pulp therapy medicaments used in the primary dentition

 
 

  • Discuss the rationale, indications and contraindications for the different pulp therapy techniques

 
 

  • Demonstrate appropriate choice of treatment for pulpaly involved teeth in varying clinical situations
