Aims

To improve the participants skills in providing a quick, simple and effective restoration for carious primary teeth.

Objectives

To evaluate the clinical outcome of primary teeth restored with preformed metal crowns compared with those restored with conventional filling materials

To determine whether the extent of decay has an effect on the clinical outcome of primary teeth restored with preformed metal crowns compared with those restored with conventional filling materials.

By the end of the course participants will understand the criteria for selection of cases for the Hall technique and will have had the chance to practise a quick and simple method of placing stainless steel crowns.
