DescriptionPlease join us in Bristol for a full day devoted to partial dentures. Lizzie King (Consultant Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Bristol Dental Hospital) will be exploring anatomy, materials, components, mouth preparation, design and delivery. We will be designing dentures, with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.

Aims

To revisit the fundamentals of partial denture anatomy, biomaterials, components, mouth preparation, design and treatment delivery.

Objectives

1.Revisit the anatomical knowledge required for effective partial denture design

2.Understand how to prepare the mouth for partial dentures

3.Work through the stages of partial denture design including relevant biomaterials, tooth preparation and denture components

4. Practice denture design for cobalt chrome frameworks
