Aims | To give dental teams the confidence and ability to effectively treat patients living with dementia in the dental practice setting |
Objectives | To provide the dental team with an understanding of the challenges faced by patients living with dementia in accessing dental care, and reiterate the importance of preventive strategies. It will the highlight role of all dental care professionals in managing the oral health needs of this patient group. There will also be an opportunity for an interactive treatment planning session to discuss clinical cases. |
