DescriptionWe are delighted to invite all Dental Care Professionals working across the South West to attend this CPD and networking day. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded DCPs across the region and to hear talks from leaders of oral health across the South West whilst exploring opportunities available to DCPs, including research. We have a fantastic line up of speakers including Matthew Jerreat, regional Chief Dental Officer, who will help us to explore current oral health strategies in our area. There will be plenty of opportunity to network and hear inspiring stories from DCPs who will kindly share their career journey.

This a FREE event and CPD will be awarded in line with the GDC’s eCPD requirements.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided but please kindly bring lunch.

There is limited parking at South West House and we kindly ask you to consider sharing transport where possible.

The aim of this event is to empower dental care professionals working in the NHS to network and explore different career opportunities.

1. Recognise the opportunities available to DCPs across the South West to enhance their career.

2. Describe key oral health initiatives across the South West

3. Explain the recent changes to GDC Scope of Practice and describe how they will affect DCPs

4. Compare opportunities with peers and consider options suitable for their own career.
