Objectives

Voice

Consider how you can use your voice to communication more clearly, have more control over your voice in order to improve communication with patients and deliver more vibrant and engaging presentations.

Movement & Non-verbal communication

Develop awareness of appropriate posture and body language to improve effective communication and begin to build one’s stamina to cope with the physical demands of your job.

Presentation skills

Practice voice and communication techniques to make effective and comprehensible presentations to develop confidence in interactions with colleagues and patients.

Reflective Practice

Increase skills of self-expression and an ability to reflect on one’s own medical practice, experiences and identities.
