Description | This virtual teaching day aims to deliver an overview of how the intensive care unit fits into the hospital service and what it can offer for patients. Talks will mainly be from intensive care consultants and will cover an introduction to ICU, making referrals, decision-making and withdrawing life support, and critical care topics including the airway, renal replacement therapies and fluids. We will also be live-streaming a point of view central line insertion on a mannikin. |
