Aims

This workshop takes a step by step approach to the QI process, helping students develop their own QI project ideas while tackling real-life sustainability/ethical issues in healthcare delivery. The workshops will allow time for you to work on how to engage those around you in your QI ideas and how to design improvement efforts to achieve your goals. Practical cases are used to illustrate the key principles of sustainable clinical practice, and measure the triple bottom line.

Objectives

Clinicians involved in sustainable quality improvement projects report greater job satisfaction when they engage work on the ‘triple bottom line’ (financial, environmental, social) to improve patient outcomes, increase staff work satisfaction, and future proof the health service and the communities it supports.
