Aims

An interactive day led by GP educators covering the below topics:

- Metabolic Health, Insulin Resistance, and reversing Type 2 Diabetes

- GP careers: Presentations from three GPs ranging from early to late career, including an ex-president of the RCGP.

- Courage vs Fear based Medicine - Dr Kathy Ryan, Director Brisdoc (the GP ‘out of hours’ services)

- Shared decision Making - Highly relevant to both primary and secondary care. Involving your patients in diagnostic and treatment decisions.

Objectives

To look at the management of chronic disease 

To look at careers in general practice.
