Aims

The paediatric series is perfect for F2’s beginning to enter paediatric placement, those considering a career in EM, General practice or paediatrics.

This lecture will cover common pathologies and approach to a child who presents with a limp.

Objectives
  1. Be able to correctly examine a child who presents with a limp or abnormal gait
  2. Able to correctly identify ‘red flags’
  3. Be able to request appropriate investigations and act on results
