Aims

Covering the child with the ‘non-blanching rash’.

This session is part of paediatric teaching set, designed for foundation trainees/early GP trainees or those with an interest in paediatrics and aims to help you gain confidence assessing, investigating and managing children who present with a ‘non-blanching rash’.

Objectives
  1. Be able to identify non-blanching rash in children and understand its causes
  2. Be able to describe a clinical approach to the assessment and management of non-blanching rash in children
  3. Recognise concerning features that may point to NAI in children presenting with non-blanching rash
