Description: We look forward to welcoming all F2’s to this study day, whether you are interested in O&G as a specialty or not, there will be a great deal of transferable skills and knowledge. We plan to use a variety of teaching methods including the traditional lecture, small group discussion and practical sessions. If you need to cancel your space, please email plh-tr.pgmcfoundation@nhs.net at your earliest opportunity in the hope someone else would be able to take your place. The faculty appreciate that Obstetrics and Gynaecology can be intimidating for many doctors. This day is intended to enable you to feel more at ease with some of the difficult topics and examination required to assess and manage these patients safely. In the past this day has always received fantastic feedback. This is largely down to our relaxed and hands on approach. Description: The Acute Systematic Clinical Emergency Response and Treatment, or ASCERT, program is an intensive 2-day course (First day Thursday 20th May and second day Friday 21st May 2027) that is designed for medical professionals who deal directly with acutely unwell adult patients. ASCERT is primarily engineered for junior doctors in Foundation Year 2 and early core/specialist training years. However, other medical professionals who have a direct role in patient assessment may also register. If you would like to improve the outcome of your treatment of acutely ill patients, ASCERT is almost certainly the right option for you. We take pride in the success that our delegates have in the field and we look forward to seeing you in an upcoming ASCERT session.
